Shipping And Returns

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations:

Goods should be inspected at the time of delivery and any damages or shortages must be reported to us within 24 hours  of receipt of the goods for a credit to be given. Please notify us at info@wildeirishchocolates.com  and we will get your situation resolved.  Please include your order number and a description of the damage and photos of goods that were damaged.

If goods are ordered incorrectly and where we are able to accept them back, there will be a handling charge linked to the size of the consignment. In no circumstances will we accept goods back if they have been opened and/or returned to us in poor condition or with the original packaging or marked or damaged.

Orders for customised /personalised products cannot be cancelled after confirmation of the order.

We always hope and trust that you will be happy with our products but if for any reason you  are not entirely satisfied with your purchase other than for damaged goods we are here to help. Returns of products for any reason other than items damaged in transit will require authorisation from us before goods are returned. Despatch of returned items must comply with our requirements outlined here:

Items must be packed  with enough packaging to keep items secure on return journey. In no circumstances will we accept goods back if they have been opened or returned to us in poor condition or with the original packaging marked or damaged,  if damaged in transit as a consequence of insufficient packaging.

Please also include the following in your parcel:

  • Original order Number
  • Itemised list of goods being returned.
  • Reason for return
  • Authorisations return number

We are unable to refund your postage costs for products being returned that are not being returned because faulty or damaged. You should retain proof of postage as you will be responsible for your returned products until they reach us.  We will not be able to refund items that are not resalable (unless faulty or damaged) so please ensure that you have used enough packaging to ensure the safety of your items.

Shipping locations, delivery times and charges:

  • Where do we ship to: Ireland; All 32 counties. Minimum order value is €100.00 net not including carriage cost. Delivery charge is €12.00 for orders under €300.00 net not including carriage. Free delivery for orders over €300.00 net not including carriage.
  • EU export orders will incur variable carriage costs depending on weight of good and delivery address. Invoicing and payment will be arranged after order is placed.
  • For UK Exports to England, Scotland, Wales an EORI number is required. Invoicing and despatch is by arrangement and Invoicing and payment will be arranged after order is placed. The customer is responsible for arranging customs and import  administration and costs.
  • US and Rest of World export orders will incur variable carriage costs depending on weight of good and delivery address and is by arrangement. Invoicing and payment will be arranged after order is placed. The customer is responsible for arranging customs and import administration and costs. 

How do orders & deliveries work?

We will normally process orders and despatch within 7 working days or less, providing all items ordered are instock. Orders of items listed on the website as available  ‘on backorder’ will potentially cause a delay in despatch  of the total order. If you request the despatch of the order containing back order items  in 2 separate consignments, 2 carriage costs will apply. We will use courier delivery on the island of Ireland and the UK, Europe and Rest of World. We may at times use the Irish postal service at our discretion.
